Bethany United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas is looking for a high-energy, growth-minded, and faith-filled leader to direct its Student Ministries Program, providing leadership and oversight to programming, purpose, and people (students, parents, and volunteer leaders). The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for students and their families and enjoy spending time with both. He or she will also have a strong faith in God and desire to help students and families grow in their faith. Finally, the ideal candidate will thrive at Bethany if he or she has new ideas, can communicate creatively, and wants to engage our community and neighborhood in intentional ways. The Director of Student Ministries will work closely with the church staff, volunteers, and parents to create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn and thrive.
