Ep. 11: "Spiritual Practices: Lectio Divina" w/Revs. Melissa Turkett & Kristin Warthen

In this, our 11th episode of POD Strangely Warmed, we continue a new series to help individuals and churches prepare for and live into the season of Pentecost. With Pentecost just around the corner, the new series focuses on Spiritual Practices that can help form us in the faith. These conversations are designed to be used for your individual faith journey, or as a resource for your small group or Sunday School class. Joining Daniel Hawkins for this season on the POD Strangely Warmed are co-hosts and spiritual practice guides, Rev. Melissa Turkett and Rev. Kirstin Warthen. In the second of five in this series, the trio discuss and demonstrate the spiritual practice of Lectio Divina, or as Daniel says it "Praying the Scriptures."

Other areas that will be explored and experienced together during this series are: Prayer, Work as a Spiritual Practice, Silence and Stillness, and Prayer of Examen.
