SPACE at the TABLE Event to Feature CTC Thought Leaders Bishop Ruben Saenz, Rev. Beth Evers and Rev. Daniel Hawkins

On Wednesday, Nov. 16, Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX is hosting SPACE at the TABLE: Conversations of Hope for the UMC Future. The gathering of clergy and lay leadership is intended as an opportunity to explore the future challenges and opportunities of The UMC and share ideas for greater community and global impact and effectiveness for the denomination.
 
The single-day event will be keynoted by pastor and author Rev. Dr. Mike Slaughter and will feature several panel discussions – two of which will feature leaders from the Central Texas Conference. The Episcopacy Panel includes Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. and the Young Clergy Panel is set to feature the CTC’s own Rev. Beth Evers (University UMC, Fort Worth) and Rev. Daniel Hawkins (Wm. C. Martin UMC, Bedford).
 
The free event is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m and lunch is provided for those who attend in person. You may register for the event or learn more at llumc.org/conference.
