New East & North District Administrator Announced

Katherine Hunter has been selected as the new District Administrator for the East & North Districts of the Central Texas Conference UMC. As was communicated in January, the East and North District offices will be moving to the Central Texas Conference Service Center (CTCSC) in Fort Worth and sharing a District Administrator effective April 1 as part of the operational plan established to help carefully manage spending in 2020 and beyond.
 
Katherine currently serves as the conference’s Mission Coordinator. Prior to taking on the Mission Coordinator role, Katherine served for 15 years as Grapevine First UMC’s executive assistant to the pastors. According to Rev. Louis Carr, North District Superintendent and Dr. Randy Wild, East District Superintendent, Katherine’s knowledge of the workings of a local church office, her mission ministry knowledge and her adaptability to new situations will prove to be big assets to the pastors and local churches as they adjust to an ever-changing landscape of ministry needs and continue their dedicated focus on our mission and Wildly Important Goal of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

While the east and north district office are still in negotiations with the phone company on securing dedicated phone numbers at the CTCSC, you can always reach them via the CTCSC’s main line of 817-877-5222, effective April.The mailing address for both districts will be 3200 E. Rosedale St, Fort Worth, Texas 76105. The district email addresses will remain the same as they are currently – eastdistrict@ctcumc.org and northdistrict@ctcumc.org.
