Job Description: Operations Director
North Texas Community Table, Inc.
Position Description: This is a voluntary part-time position (approximately 20 hours
per week). Reports to the Executive Director. The Operations Director will have
operational responsibility for the North Texas Community food pantry, Team Leads
and volunteers. The Operations Director oversees daily operations of the Community
Table food pantry, ensuring well-trained volunteers and adequate supplies for the
operation of the pantry.
Responsibilities:
Handling daily activities of the organization.
Making sure legal guidelines are followed and ensuring compliance with all applicable
regulation across the Community Table
Ensuring Team Leads have adequate volunteers.
Develop, maintain and support strong Team Leads to handle critical business
functions, including holding an operational meeting at least monthly.
Ongoing training and monitoring of volunteers and Team Leads.
Managing a diverse group of volunteers and guests.
The Operations Director will report any incidents to the Executive Director.
Participating in external events to boost credibility, visibility, and image of the brand.
Coordinates with the Administrative Assistant for ordering food each week or as
needed.
Qualifications:
• Thoroughly committed to the North Texas Community Table’s mission
• Should have proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Must communicate well with volunteers and internal and external partners,
ensuring cultural diversity.
• Must be knowledgeable of budget adherence.
