As we continue in our Advent Journey, into the neighborhood, our host Rev. Daniel Hawkins is joined by 2 of his co-authors of 'Into the Neighborhood" Rev. Matt Ybanez from FUMC Hurst, and Rev. Katie Newkirk from St. Paul UMC. This week they build on the first step in the journey into the neighborhood—choosing to see the community around us more fully—by hearing the invitation to compassion. They explore how we can open our hearts fully to our neighbors, and invite a new way of understanding our good southern standard "bless your heart."
