UCF Wesley Foundation at Navarro College at 2021 Retreat

March 30, 2021

The UCF Wesley Foundation at Navarro College recently hosted their largest retreat in the past five years at Sky Ranch in Van, Texas. The focus of the retreat was “Find Your Swing.” After a year full of challenges – many of which were unprecedented and COVID related -  students enjoyed a weekend playing and growing spiritually in small groups. The retreat provided a sanctuary for students to escape the stresses of daily life and feel the presence of God. During workshops, students engaged in conversations about their identity in Christ, using their gifts in life and staying focused on their vision.

The UCF Wesley also partnered with Bulldog Life at Navarro College for the retreat. On the Saturday of the retreat, many athletes joined the retreat due to a partnership with the UCF Wesley Sports Ministry program and Bulldog Life. The athlete’s focus for the retreat was “Leadership: Humility and Hope.”

In total, 150 students attended the retreat - 50 of which were UCF Wesley Foundation students from the Christian Leadership Center. This retreat was funded through a grant from the Irvine Christian Foundation in Corsicana, Texas.
